All our funding comes from the people of Sheffield, and it all goes back to organisations in Sheffield working for social change.

Every year we collect as much as we can, then bring together a group of working-class organisers and activists for a day to make decisions on where the money should be used.

We hold the strong belief that folk who live without access to capital have a better idea of how and where social movement money should be spent than those who hold more capital. So, rather than the capital-heavy making these decisions we gather the resources and then create a space for capital-light organisers to take those decisions.
